el, 02 Aug 2022The US does NOT use 110 Volts. The US does use 240 Volts. 240 VAC comes into each house on ... more Yeah it does. The flaw of 110V is that you can't get any decent wattage from it without using ridiculous amps. And where they use 230/240V, it's "special" outlets that they need to always have separately and specially dedicated for that. I remember bunch of vlogs from people buying EV's and then having problems charging them. Meanwhile in Europe, 230V is a standard. All of it. 16A being the common highest end single phase outlet that can deliver almost 3700W of power. You'd need over 33A to achieve that on 110V... And 230V 16A is enough to charge an EV car directly from a regular wall socket over night where with American ones, it's just too slow. On top of that, 230V is more efficient network as there are smaller losses as well as higher device efficiency. All computer power supplies have dramatically worse power efficiency at 110V than they do at 230V. And at the end of the day, neither is any safer. It was argued that lower voltage is safer if child sticks a fork into a wall socket, but reality is, it's not volts that kill you, it's the amps. And you don't need many of them to kill you, so safety reasoning is irrelevant. Better pin safety and grounding is more important and European Schuko plugs and wall sockets are among the safest and are also reversible like USB-C :P American plugs are more convenient since they are smaller when not using grounding, but you can technically touch the contacts before they are fully hidden into wall socket and when you do have the grounding, they aren't reversible which is annoying. But that's outside power itself...

The US does NOT use 110 Volts. The US does use 240 Volts. 240 VAC comes into each house on two black wires from the street transformer. The street transformer 240 VAC secondary winding has a center-tap that is grounded to Earth. Each leg of the 240 VAC feed to the house is thus also 120 VAC away from Earth. This is called a “split 240 VAC system” or a 240/120 VAC system. 240 VAC outlets are provided in the house for the kitchen stove, clothes dryer, electric car, garage welder, heat pump — those are the high current big loads in a house — two-pole circuit breakers protect these circuits.

Conveniently ignoring "It also remains to be seen if" and "or if there will be just one version. " To fit their fantasy narrative.

I'd rather stay with 65W charging. It's still more than good enough.

"OnePlus will launch a 10T with a bigger battery and slower charging speed like the 10R" AMEN TO THAT

Kingchin33, 31 Jul 2022You wanted a OnePlus 7T lol, you must be fairly young! I had the original first OnePlus phone ... more Yeah, I was actually gonna say OP6 but I was ranting lmao. I mean in the US where I’m from, OnePlus is one of the only brands that offers their phones here that anyone can buy no problem, basically BBK’s US main. Europeans and Asians are very lucky that they can even import phones from China and use them in any country with ease. Here, the bandwidths are so different (especially N71 for 5G here) that many imported phones wouldn’t work well here. So most people would just get a phone made for the US market, works with N71 and get a Samsung, iPhone, Pixel, or OnePlus. Or, for a “budget” phone, a T-Mobile Revvl (look it up). The phone market sucks here BAD. OnePlus leaving would honestly make the US market so much smaller and it would suck for us. I want to get a newer OnePlus too, especially this one in the article since it may eventually come to our shores. The OnePlus 10 Pro did, but I don’t know if people will say to get the OnePlus 10T over a Samsung of the same price. The brand seems to be disliked like crazy, anyway.

Especially for situations as the one you described. I mean you leave home in the morning after 30 minutes of charging time with 100% battery, this is a plus. But imagine is a bad battery, and in the afternoon your battery is gone. This is a big minus. Not that I want to praise iPhones now, but I have a friend with iPhone 13 Pro Max. And she left home in the morning for a one day trip with 30% battery (because she forgot to charge it). And returned later that day, still with some percentages remaining. So, quite impressive in my opinion. Of course, she paid 1200EUR for that phone, lol. But, just to give an example about SoT, which is equally important.

When use mobile camera 5.10minet mobile is so hot.and battery charge no longer.pls if you can solve my problem pls do it .or give me advice.thanks
